This one starts way from the rest of the players on the ice pushing and shoving, you can tell Montador wants to fight Lapierre and Lapierre knows no linesman is close to save him.
They finally drop the gloves and Lapierre tries to wrestle Montador, Montador gets his hands free and lands some punches so Lapierre turtles to the ice.
Great shot for shot fight, this one starts from a scrum with Strudwick as the aggressor. Both guys hold nothing back in this one and there is no defence, just bombs.
The youngster Colin Wilson gets his flippers off with Roman Polak, who in the end put it to the rookie. Very Strange ending with the linesman consoling the winner Polak as if he was in tears.
The Islanders have Trevor Gillies in the lineup for one reason, to do what he does best – Fight. Riley Cote obliges and becomes a punching bag for a few seconds.

This is what you call a fight you see coming a mile away. Before the puck is drop you can see the gloves inches away from coming off on behalf of Cam Janssen. It’s not the 2+ minute normal Cam Janssen fight but its a great short tilt.
From this past Saturday, the Flames were down 4-0 at this point and Regehr new something needed to be done to show he still cared about the game and the season. He runs Thornton into the boards and then they go at it.
Talk about a surprising punch. The fight starts off with Sarich hitting Chimera from behind into the boards, Chimera takes exception and they drop their gloves – One shot later the fight is over.
I must say, I am really surprised with the outcome of this fight. Taylor Pyatt does not drop the gloves much but he took on a game opponent in Chris Stewart and did very well.
Other than you Sabre fans everyone watching this fight live or now for the first times wants to see one thing.. That is Kaleta out cold. It doesn’t happen this time but it is a good fight none the less.
This is what you call a slugfest, two guys just standing there and slugging it out. This one is pretty close to a draw to me, what do you think?
