Two behemoths trading punches with no defense, this is exactly how Colton Orr fights and Koci obliges. Its a pretty even fight with no knockdowns, it comes to an end with both of them allowing the linesman to come in.

Derek Boogaard vs Eric Godard
Two of the top heavyweights in the NHL, this is a very good scrap with lots of punches traded. Godard has the good hockey jab going and gets in some good shots on the big guy and Boogaard gets in some offense of his own and gets the last punch in with Godard’s jersey over his head.

From as far as I can tell these two have never fought in the NHL but here are two fights while both were in Junior Hockey in the WHL. With Boogaard in New York and Orr in Toronto I think they will finally meet this upcoming season, probably a few times.

Video: Georges Laraque vs Donald Brashear
Two heavyweight king pins in the NHL for the longest time do battle, Brashear the Capital and Laraque the Penguin drop the gloves in the Verizon Center. Laraque absolutely dominates Brashear early and often but it looks like Brashear gets the knockdown punch.

Fight: Jason Spezza vs Andrei Markov
What? Yes, These two actually fought a couple years back, as surprising as it is to say Jason Spezza and Andrei Markov actually did fight each other. The best part is there wasn’t even any slapping ala Alex Semin. Spezza throws two or three punches and Markov throws one but Markov gets the take down.

Two tough guys who make a living the hard way (like all NHL enforcers) this is a long scrap with a lot of punches thrown but few big ones land. This is an entertaining tilt but arguably the most exciting moment in it happens to be the linesman taking a spill after being called off by Colton Orr.
