Mike Modano not in group buying the Stars
Citing a source, the paper said that the ownership group led by Billy Quinn, Mike Modano and former Stars president Jim Lites is out of the running and that Calgary oilman Bill Gallacher and Vancouver hotelier Tom Gaglardi are the candidates to own the team.
