Anssi Salmela taken off ice on stretcher

Anssi Salmela, a part of the Kovalchuk to New Jersey trade was taken off the stretcher earlier tonight during the Devils/Flyers game.

According to his agent and friend of Crash The Crease Jay Grossman

Salmela has refractured broken nose and lost several teeth. Will not return tonight, but will be OK.
