2010 Entry Draft in Los Angeles

The NHL will officially announce Friday that the Los Angeles Kings will host the 2010 NHL Draft at Staples Center on June 25-26, the Kings are reporting on their Web site.

It will be the first time that the League’s selection process has been held in Southern California and only the third time ever on the West Coast. Vancouver was the host for the draft in 1990 and 2006.

Smart move for the league and the Kings, get it out in Southern California for the first time, the draft is a very big deal and I know it will go very well in LA.
