Islanders Update

According to coach Scott Gordon, Rick DiPietro will be taking part in his first, full practice with the team this week.  Islanders fans, this is great news.  It’s great that DiPietro is finally getting back on to the ice, and it is great to hear that he is healthy enough to start practicing.  It also means that the trade talks can begin on Martin Biron.  Yes, I know his numbers are not impressive thus far this year, but there will be a trade partner for Biron – you can mark my words on that.
