James Neal to face league, suspended for two games

Dallas Stars forward James Neal is facing supplementary discipline from the NHL.

The Stars’ leading goal scorer will have a hearing today at Noon et/9am pt for his hit against Columbus Blue Jackets forward Derek Dorsett in the second period of Thursday’s game.

Neal received a 5-minute major for boarding and a game misconduct.

Neal came in very hard and very fast and plowed his head right into the boards from behind.

I think we will see a 2-3 game suspension.
