Back to back Islanders look to get two more
After last nights nail biter, the Islanders travel to south Florida to take on the Panthers.
The main question on every mind in Islanders nation is will Scott Gordon sit Josh Bailey again this evening? We know one change in the lineup is in order as Dwayne Roloson will get the nod from Coach Gordon to start tonight’s contest.
Tonight’s starting lineup (subject to change):
| Matt Moulson | John Tavares | Richard Park |
| Sean Bergenheim | Frans Nielsen | Kyle Okposo |
| Jon Sim | Rob Schremp | Trent Hunter |
| Blake Comeau | Nate Thompson | Tim Jackman |
| …………………….D……………………. | …………………….D……………………. |
|---|---|
| Mark Streit | Bruno Gervais |
| Freddy Meyer | Andy Sutton |
| Jack Hillen | Brendan Witt |
| …………………………G………………………… |
|---|
| Dwayne Roloson |
Now you may all notice a few things, as I have, that could be changed. Josh Bailey and Jeff Tambellini are not posted in tonight’s line up. Two players that are better to dress tonight over Jon Sim and Rob Schremp. Roloson getting the call was obvious as he has only one regulatoin loss to his credit so far this season. Two points, a crucial two points early on this season, are on the line tonight. It is up to the Islanders to come out fast, like they did last night however, they must keep the pace up and control as much of the play as they can for the entire sixty minutes tonight. The common theme of blowing leads late in games needs to come to an end.
Which Islanders team will show up tonight? Can the team execute an offensive performance and control an entire sixty minutes of hockey tonight? Tune in at 7PM to find out.
