Oilers lose Pisani, Grebeshkov to injuries

The Edmonton Oilers continue to be hit hard by the injury bug. Forward Fernando Pisani is out indefinitely after he suffered a recurring bout with ulcerative colitis, while defenceman Dennis Grebeshkov will miss the next few weeks with a torn MCL in his knee.
Pisani left Atlanta on Friday and headed home to Edmonton after a recurring bout with ulcerative colitis. He missed the first 13 games of the season with a back injury, had returned to the lineup Oct. 31 against Boston. Pisani last played Wednesday night in Buffalo. He missed the first 26 games of the 2007-08 season with the disease.

You gotta feel for Pisani, he can’t catch a break and now with his ulcerative colitis flaring backup, you just have to hope he can beat it once again and get back into the lineup and live a normal life.
