Sabres top Oilers 3-1; Reddox injured late in 3rd

TSN recap to be found here. More in-depth analysis will come tomorrow.
Quick comment, though:
Edmonton left-winger Liam Reddox was knocked out when he was rammed headfirst into the boards by Clarke MacArthur late in the game.
Stafford opened the scoring with 4:29 left in the first period when he lifted a backhand from in tight over Khabibulin’s left shoulder for his team-leading fifth goal.
MacArthur is one of the cleanest players on the Sabres roster. The incident cannot be rationally characterized as him “ramming” Reddox into the boards — it necessarily indicates intent, whereas an observer could tell that it was an accident. A stunned looking MacArthur immediately turned to Reddox to see if he was OK.
This will undoubtedly come up for review. I hope the NHL makes the correct decision.
