Luongo healthy, will backup tonight

Great news for the Vancouver Canucks as Roberto Luongo is back to being healthy and will dress tonight as the Vancouver Canucks backup. He is expected to start later in the week against the Detroit Red Wings.

The Vancouver Canucks are set to have goalie Roberto Luongo back.

Luongo is returning to the NHL club’s lineup for its game against the St. Louis Blues after missing two weeks with a broken rib.

The Canucks expect Luongo to back up Andrew Raycroft on Tuesday night against the Blues. The Canucks sent goalie Cory Schneider to Manitoba of the AHL earlier Tuesday. Luongo could make his first start since the injury Thursday in Detroit.
