Curtis Glencross suspended 3 games for hit on Drury

Certainly was interference, no call was made on the play on Saturday night but I think they got it right with the suspension. Especially since Drury was injured on the play. With that said, its another suspension based on injury and not the hit itself.

Calgary’s Curtis Glencross has been suspended for three games following his blindside hit to the head that knocked New York Rangers captain Chris Drury out of Saturday night’s game in Calgary.

Glencross had a disciplinary hearing with the NHL on Monday to discuss the hit which occured less than one minute into the game, and saw him catch the unsuspecting Drury with a shoulder to the head.
