I quite like this Forsberg for Vancouver rumour.
He's a proven legend. He's difficult to shake off the puck. He holds it up so well to allow team mates to join the play. He has one of the best hockey brains of any NHLer over the past 10 years and he's every bit the fluid skater the Nucks haven't had since Markus Naslund saw the dollar signs of New York.
Forsberg himself is happy to appreciate he's not the superstar who earned huge bucks at Colorado, Nashville and Philly but he seems really keen to be back in the league and to take a pay cut. Even given his injury-prone nature, he's exactly the type of player your boys need and would be well worth the cap hit.
