Jonas Gustavsson starting vs Detroit
Coming off only their second win of the season last night the Maple Leafs will stick with the goalie that has won both and that is Jonas Gustasvsson. He will start tonight at home against the Detroit Red Wings.
This will mark the first time in his NHL career that he will start back to back games as the Maple Leafs were in Carolina last night playing against the Hurricanes.
Gustavsson made 34 saves last night against the Hurricanes and raised his starting record to 2-1-3.

Yeah the Monster’s coming along great! I can’t help but feel some peole were far too quick to right him off after – let’s face it – a distastrous start from the Leafs this season. If he keeps improving at the rate he is, this team will be capable of great things. Whether that’s this season or next, you can’t help but feel good things are starting to happen in Toronto.
