More on David Krejci with H1N1

It’s been confirmed with 98.5 The Sports Hub here in Boston that second line center David Krejci has Swine Flu. In an already depleted lineup, he will most likely need several days to recover and may miss this Saturday’s game against the Sabres.
As for now, Krejci will be kept away from the team for monitoring and in the process, the Bruins have recalled Mikko Lehtonen on emergency basis to fill the role for tonight’s game. With a drastic reduction in firepower and with the goal scoring woes the Bruins are currently experiencing, this comes as a shock.
Krejci will be a scratch and is added to a list that includes Milan Lucic, Marc Savard, and Byron Bitz.
Let’s be honest here people, with the illness concerns in Hockeytown right now and the current status of the team, did we expect the team to return from Detroit with anything less?
