Team Canada to be named on New Year’s Eve

Steve Yzerman and the rest of the Canadian Olympic team management will name the 2010 Canadian Olympic mens hockey team on New Year’s Eve. This announcement will be of the entire 23 man roster.

Also I am told that this announcement will be made on TSN during the telecast of Team Canada vs Team U.S.A during the World Jr Championships.

Expect the team to be announced during the first or second intermission.
