Phil Kessel cleared to play

Earlier this morning Phil Kessel was cleared by team doctors to resume playing.

Kessel had to take a strength test yesterday after practice to see if his shoulder was strong enough and healthy enough to be playing.

Kessel will play tonight against the Tampa Bay Lightning and will be on a line with Jason Blake and Matt Stajan.
