Simon Gagne has two hernias

Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren issued the following statement regarding forward Simon Gagne:

“Simon Gagne was examined today (October 27) by Dr. Alan Schurict from Pennsylvania Hospital after an ultra sound procedure (on October 26) found two small hernias in Simon’s right groin area.

“Our medical staff will meet with Simon tomorrow afternoon (October 28) to discuss all options.”
