Flyers’ lines get a makeover

To try and get some of the struggling Flyers going, John Stevens has shuffled his lines in a big way. A way that fellow Flyer fan Anthony Curatolo or myself couldn’t even imagine or predict to begin the season… Here you go.

LW- Scott Hartnell -C- Mike Richards -RW- Arron Asham

LW- James van Riemsdyk -C- Jeff Carter -RW- Danny Briere

LW- Simon Gagne -C- Claude Giroux -RW- Ian Laperriere

LW- Dan Carcillo -C- Mika Pyorala -RW- Darroll Powe

Gagne needs to get his ass in gear, bottom line. It’s pretty pathetic. Outside of the biting incident, Hartnell has been invisible and that is NOT part of his game, whatsoever. Giroux played a good alround game Thursday and was playing well on the top line, I think soon he will go on a tear. The second line in Philadelphia is DANGEROUS. JVR-Carts-Danny could be one of the best in the league if they stick together.. which at this pace – isn’t likely.

The Flyers host Florida on Saturday and San Jose on Sunday.
