No panic moves for Minnesota

The Wild confirmed Friday that injured forwards Cal ClutterbuckPierre-Marc Bouchard will be out indefinitely, but General Manager Chuck Fletcher said he won’t make any panic moves for quick fixes. and

“I don’t think we want to react to the injuries and say we have to make a trade and fill those holes,” Fletcher said. “If we can do something that makes sense from a longer-term perspective, we would do it. But I don’t think we’ll look to move assets or make a trade to do something short-term.”

An MRI on Clutterbuck’s left ankle confirmed he has a high ankle sprain.

“It’s not the most severe type of high ankle sprain, but any high ankle sprain is a significant injury. We’re talking weeks, not days,” Fletcher said.
