Leafs held secret practice before practice

As everyone knows, the Maple Leafs practice on Thursday was meant to be a fun practice so the coaching staff had the team play 2 on 2 hockey and play a game of dodge ball on the ice using tennis balls.

Looking to get an edge for the practice so maybe some players on the team could actually win something, a handful of players secretly practiced the night before.

The secret videos have just been released to Leafs 247. While they are grainy and one is very short in length it just shows to what the extreme the Leafs will do to get an edge and win at dodge ball.

Our first video is of associate coach Tim Hunter as a child, this is where he was first taught the sport and this ultimately game him the idea about playing dodge ball on ice.
