Coyotes demote Mikkel Boedker

Coyotes forward Mikkel Boedker, the club’s top draft pick in 2008, was sent down to the American Hockey League affiliate San Antonio Rampage.

Boedker, 19, appeared in five games this season. The 5-foot-11, 200-pound forward recorded had 11 goals and 28 points in 78 games for the Coyotes in 2008-09. He finished tied for second among all NHL rookies with three winning goals.
