Thrashers ink Armstrong

Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) – The Atlanta Thrashers signed restricted free agent Colby Armstrong to an undisclosed contract on Thursday.

The 26-year-old Armstrong is coming off a career year, posting 22 goals and 18 assists for the Thrashers, who acquired the forward in a mid-season trade with Pittsburgh during the 2007-08 campaign.

In four seasons, the 21st overall selection of the 2001 Draft has compiled 63 goals and 86 assists in 281 career games.
