Gillis to focus on Sundin now

The focus may now shift to Sundin.

At 38, the centre’s best days are long gone, but the Swedish centre did have eight points in eight playoff games after managing just 28 points in 41 regular-season games. Still, it was a hefty $5.626-million price tag for half a season.

“When he returns from his trip, we’ll have another chat to see where he is in terms of whether he wants to play or not,” said Gillis.
