Philadlephia Flyers Press Conference 11am Wednesday

The Flyers have a Press Conference set for tomorrow at 11am where it is believed Paul Holmgren will be announcing that the Flyers and Emery have verbally agreed to a contract for the 2009-2010 season.  It is reported to be a one year $1.5 million contract.

Although, Emery can not sign officially until July 1st, the verbal aspect was good enough to get this move done.

Now, Homer needs to cut some cap, get a big time #2-#4 d-man in Philadelphia, get either Niittymaki or another backup signed, and hope that it’s all systems go for 2009-2010.  Sure easier said then done, but going to be one hell of a situation to follow.
