Maple Leafs To Sign Christian Hanson?

The Maple Leafs are expected to sign Christian Hanson tomorrow afternoon. Hanson who’s father is one of the famed Hanson brothers is a 23 year old centre man who played for the of Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the NCAA.

Hanson is 6″3 and 205 pounds for Venetia PA, this season he scored 15 goals and added 16 assists for the Fighting Irish.

Brian Burke has went on record this season saying he is looking to sign 5 players out of the NCAA this season hoping 2 of them pan out as NHLers.

Good start for Burke but he will also have Gilroy and Bozak on his short list of NCAA players to sign.
