Legace Clears Waivers

After clearing waivers earlier in the day, the St. Louis Blues assigned former All-Star netminder Manny Legace to the Peoria Rivermen of the AHL on Saturday.

The 36-year old Leagce has a 13-9-2 record in 29 games with the Blues this season, however he has seen his playing time diminish lately thanks to the stellar play of Chris Mason.

I think he will remain in the AHL until he is placed on re callable waivers and a team picks him up at half price or St.Louis will trade him and receive the same amount of salary in return.
